Foodville: Afro-Caribbean Food Fest is a vibrant cultural celebration, designed to promote a sense of pride and appreciation for the rich culinary traditions and heritage of African and Caribbean communities. With a commitment to fostering cultural exchange and understanding among diverse communities, Foodville aims to create a sense of unity and inclusivity through the shared experiences of food, music, and art.
Entrepreneurs from various backgrounds, including chefs, restaurant owners, artisans, performing artists, and visual artists, are highlighted and supported at this event. The festival features a market showcasing cultural cuisine from African and Caribbean communities and products crafted by local artisans.
The Main Stage comes alive with the infectious rhythms of Caribbean music, Afrobeat, Hip-Hop, and R&B. The stage will host 4-5 local performing artists and a lineup of diverse DJs to keep the crowd engaged. Additionally, attendees can enjoy steelpan performances and a masquerade band appearance, adding to the festive atmosphere of Foodville.
